The uprights of this bar are internally threaded to accept standard 1/2″-13 mounting bolts. They are designed to fit stock or aftermarket Harley Davidson triple trees. The riserless design of this handlebar allows them to be mounted directly to the triple tree, making for a very tidy-looking installation.
With 9 1/2″ of rise and 25″ of overall width, the Bootlegger is perfect for narrow front ends. The Bootlegger is designed for custom chopper applications, but often allows reuse of stock cables and brake lines on most Harley models. And if you’re building from scratch, the Bootlegger may save you some money since you don’t need to purchase a set of risers.
