Neck cups can often last for the duration of a motorcycle’s reasonable lifespan—but many Harley-Davidson pilots pride themselves on keeping the bike running long after that operating envelope has closed.

These cups are a nice addition to a neck bearing overhaul kit (available separately) especially if you don’t have the means to extract the races. They’ll refresh the look of your tired OE neck cups (which often are not chromed) or function well on the frame of a fresh build that requires a set.
