Harley-Davidson motorcycles, predating pavement’s ubiquity, are the original scrambler. If you’re bringing a bike back to its roots by slingin’ a little mud, a set of Shinko Adventure Trail tires is a great starting point.

Shinko, in business since 1946, manufactures high-quality tires using equipment, motorcycle tire technology, and molds they acquired from Yokohama Rubber Co. in the ’90s. Some of their tried-and-true designs like the 804 and 805 Adventure Trail have become trusted staples in the off road, dual-sport, and adventure world.

These tires exhibit good road manners, excellent off road grip, and acceptable wear characteristics. The 804 and 805 series span both radial and bias-ply construction types as well as tube-type and tubeless. However, the models available from TC Bros. are both tube-type and bias-ply.
