The STIHL MS271 Wood Boss Petrol Chainsaw is a high performing mid-range chainsaw for the demanding farmer, gardener or landscaper. It’s versatile, durable 2.6 kW petrol chainsaw. This model is powered by a 2-MIX engine that helps cut fuel consumption by up to 20% and emissions by up to 50% compared to conventional two-stroke engines.
Featuring the Advanced Combustion Technology where the four overflow channels swirl the fuel-air mix before ignition, allowing for optimum combustion and highly efficient performance. The tensioning screw is located on the side of the chainsaw through the sprocket cover. The chain side tensioning allows the saw to be retensioned effortlessly, avoiding any contact with the sharp chain.
This model also features HD2-Filter where the air filter keeps even the finest dust away from the engine, ensuring a particularly long service life. The special caps on the fuel and oil tanks are designed for easy opening and locking without the need for tools. All important functions such as start, choke, throttle and stop are operated via a single lever.
