TC Bros. Battery Box Mounting Kit for Sportster Hardtail

If you’re installing a TC Bros. hardtail and using an electric-start drivetrain, mounting the battery is an obstacle to be solved. This mounting kit serves as the link between a TC Bros. hardtail kit for 1982-2003 Sportsters and the battery box.

This battery box mount is set up to fit between the lower frame rails of your hardtail. It’s an easy item to weld in, and provides a safe, level spot to tuck your battery. Made of thick, 1/4″ steel, it’s built to stand up to the punishment a rigid bike can dole out.

The narrow-tire width (130-150mm rear tire width hardtail) mount is designed for use with the TC Bros. Group 14 battery box only.

If you have a wide-tire (180-200 mm rear tire width) hardtail, the corresponding mount gives you the choice of using the same box or our larger box that accommodates Group 16 or Group 20 batteries—be sure to order the correct mount (and corresponding battery) for your hardtail kit.
