Traditional hinged solo seats should be positively retained at the rear of the bike so the springs stay captive.

• Lock nut-type retainer stud is stainless 5/16″-18 thread; fits most common seat springs

• Base is 1″ diameter with a 1 1/8″ radius coped into the mount; can be used with 1″ and 1 1/4″ cross tubes with light fabrication

These studs are the surefire way to make sure your seat doesn’t go flying up after you hit a great big pothole. Pin-type retainer kits include mounts, a pair of R-clips, steel washers, and leather cushions to keep your springs quiet and protect your paint. Lock nut-type retainer kits include a pair of stainless steel washers, a pair of stainless steel studs, and two threaded nylon insert locking nuts. These make a great addition to our front seat pivot to securely mount a set for nearly any application.
